Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a stand mixer bowl, cream together softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg and molasses, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, ground ginger, salt, ground cloves, and allspice. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Prepare your rolling mixture by combining white sugar with ground cinnamon and ginger in a small bowl.
