  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil until well coated.
  2. In a hot wok or large skillet, cook the chicken until browned and cooked through (5-7 minutes). Set aside.
  3. Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and sliced bell peppers for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender.
  4. Return the chicken to the pan and combine with a sauce made from soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and chili flakes.
  5. Serve over cooked white rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
