- 150g (5 oz) beef strips or steak, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup mashed potatoes (prepared with butter and milk)
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup green beans
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: black sesame seeds or nutritional yeast for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add beef strips and sliced bell peppers. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sear until browned and tender.
- In a pot, boil peeled potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk until creamy. Season to taste.
- Steam or lightly sauté carrots and green beans until just tender. Add salt and pepper.
- On a plate, arrange mashed potatoes topped with beef strips and bell peppers alongside the steamed veggies. Garnish if desired.
