  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 1 large Egg (lightly beaten)
  • 2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar (lightly packed)
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp AllSpice
  • 1/8 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp Whole Milk
  • 2 cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk until it feels comfortable to touch. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and brown sugar; let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, cinnamon, salt, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and beaten egg to the mixture; mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl; cover and let rise in a warm place for 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
  5. Prepare filling by mixing sugars and spices in a small bowl.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter on top, and sprinkle filling evenly.
  7. Roll up tightly from one edge and cut into 6 pieces; place in a greased baking dish.
  8. Cover rolls again and let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating oven to 350°F (175°C).
