  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk

  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder, strawberry essence, pink food dye for flavoring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, milk, oil, yogurt, and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Divide batter into three bowls: mix cocoa powder in one bowl for chocolate flavor, strawberry essence and pink dye in another for strawberry flavor; leave the third as vanilla.
  6. Pour alternating layers of batter into prepared cupcake liners.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.
