  • 4 ounces Dark chocolate
  • 4 ounces Dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat softened butter with granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. For the mousse, puree raspberries with sugar; strain if desired. Whip cream and fold in melted chocolate along with raspberry puree.
