  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 4 oz claw crab meat
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup sharp white cheddar (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup shallots (minced)
  • 1 tbsp parsley (freshly chopped)
  • 1 tbsp chives (minced)
  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with lump and claw crab meat, shredded cheeses, mayo, shallots, parsley, chives, garlic, old bay seasoning, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Slice each croissant in half without cutting all the way through and fill generously with the crab mixture.
  4. In another bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush over the filled croissants.
  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with additional minced chives if desired.
