  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried herbs
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the rice until the water runs clear. Combine rice, water, and a pinch of salt in a pot. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes until fluffy.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and cook until golden brown (5-6 minutes). Stir in sliced carrots, red bell pepper, garlic powder, herbs, salt, and pepper; cook for another 3-4 minutes.
