  • salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/3 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles (chopped)
  • 1.5 Tbsp. pickle juice
  • 8 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • chopped tomato

Instructions

  1. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is no longer pink.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and mustard; stir to combine and simmer.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine light mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped pickles, and pickle juice to make the sauce.
  4. Assemble each bowl starting with shredded lettuce as the base, then add cooked beef mixture and shredded cheese. Top with your choice of additional toppings like pickles and tomatoes.
