  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 8 flour tortillas (6-inch)
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine chopped apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and water. Cook for about 10 minutes until apples soften.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a little water until smooth. Add to the saucepan and stir well; cook for another 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray each tortilla on both sides with cooking spray. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over tortillas.
  4. Place tortillas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 10 minutes or until crispy.
