  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 40 g flour
  • 25 g sugar
  • 25 g cold butter, cubed
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 12 tsp milk

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together warm milk, egg, and softened butter.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mix until it forms a soft dough.
  4. Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
  5. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  6. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. In a pan over medium heat, melt butter.
  8. Add diced apple along with brown sugar and cinnamon; sauté until tender (about 5 minutes).
  9. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) so it's ready for baking once your buns are assembled.
  10. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  11. Spread cheesecake filling evenly over the dough surface.
  12. Spoon apple filling on top of cheesecake layer.
  13. Roll up tightly from one long edge into a log shape.
