  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Fresh toppings: diced tomatoes
  • shredded lettuce
  • sliced black olives
  • chopped green onions
  • Sour cream and salsa for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin pan.
  2. In a frying pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat. Mix in taco seasoning and water; let it thicken slightly.
  3. Press wonton wrappers into muffin sections, covering bottom and sides. Fill each with spiced beef and top with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
  4. Layer another wonton wrapper over each and repeat the filling process.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until wrappers are crispy and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Cool slightly before transferring to a platter and garnish with fresh toppings.
